| Established in 2001 by the institutional partnership
of the African American Legal Defense and Education Fund and NYMLK,
the Harriet Tubman Charter School is the first charter school
approved by the New York State Board of Regents. Its committed
teachers, parents, students and community organizations represent
the formula for a successful educational institution. HTCS is
opening from K through 3rd grade. Each year a new grade will be
added until it reaches the 12th grade. This learning environment
will be challenging and rewarding for the students. |
